Being that Alpha Delta Alpha is a local organization, we are passionate about giving back to the community we call home! We are proud to serve the Houghton-Hancock area in anyway that we can, below are two examples of how we serve the community annually: Bowl for Kids and MDOT's Adopt-a-Highway. It doesn't end there! We serve in many other ways! We participate in the annual Make a Difference Day, Michigan Tech's Preview Day, Treat Street. We also have sisters who volunteer as a Title IX facilitator, help run Order of Omega's Semesterly Blood Drive, and help student's acquire food through HuskyFAN. Because every sister bring their own unique values, we are able to provide an enormous variety of service to the area! Try to find us at the next Winter Carnival and buy one of our homemade pickled eggs! All proceeds go towards Big Brothers Big Sisters!
This event is the biggest fundraising event of the year for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Western Upper Peninsula. Not only is this a great cause, helping our local underprivileged youth find good mentors, but it's FUN as well! ADA's raise money for and bowl at this event each year in addition to sponsoring the ADA Challenge to inspire some friendly competition among the other participating organizations.

Every May, July & September the sisters of Alpha Delta Alpha head out just past Hancock Beach to our very own 2 mile stretch of highway. The goal? To help clean up roadside debris accumulated over the winter months. Taking care of our community is essential to maintaining the great atmosphere we have in this area, and Alpha Delta Alpha is proud to lend our hands wherever possible.
